Job Description:
The Direct Procurement Compliance Specialist plays a key role in ensuring that Castrol's direct procurement activities consistently adhere to internal policies, regulatory standards. This position supports the procurement function by monitoring compliance across category management, sourcing, contracting, and supplier management, with a particular focus on direct materials such as base oils, additives, packaging, and finished products/third‑party manufacturing components.
The specialist works closely with category teams, hub teams, and managers to identify compliance risks, implement effective controls, and drive continuous improvements in procurement practices. The role also supplies audit readiness, policy enhancement, and training initiatives to strengthen a culture of integrity and accountability within the procurement organization.
