Job summary

A manufacturing company in Malaysia is seeking a skilled Die and Mold specialist to join their alloy manufacturing team. The candidate will be responsible for the setup, maintenance, and repair of dies and molds for the production of alloy-based components. Key tasks include operating various machines like lathes and milling machines, designing tooling, and ensuring safety compliance. Applicants should have a background in mechanical engineering and at least 5 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience in JIG and Fixture fabrication and Mould Stamping.
  • Experience operating vertical milling, precision lathe, and surface grinding machines.
  • Possess 5 years of relevant working experience.

Responsibilities

  • Operate lathe, milling, grinding, and saw cutting machines independently.
  • Read and understand CAD drawings to determine tooling requirements.
  • Design and build JIGS, Fixtures and Mould Stamping.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on tooling regularly.
  • Troubleshoot and repair tooling for the production line.
  • Carry out continuous tooling improvement activities.
  • Establish or review safety procedures to ensure compliance with OHS guidelines.
