Job description

Responsibilities

Prepare cost-effective & optimum design solutions on customized scaffolding as per project/ client requirements in line with industry standards;

Review and ensure the safety, feasibility, and functionality of designs, with a focus on structural aspects, considering factors such as constructability, maintainability, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability;

Offer technical support to sales and project departments, including tendering and on-site construction;

Coordinate with various stakeholders such as sales engineers, clients, consultants, and/or contractors for projects; and

Efficiently manage additional ad-hoc tasks delegated by the management.

Independent execution of Scaffold design, Formwork, and Shoring

Preparation of GADs, BQs, statical calculations, and method statements for offers and order execution

Brief Product Specialist before arrival on site (hand over GADs, BQs, and assembly drawings, give relevant "soft" information)

Support the Project Manager whenever needed

Practice subsidiary-related standards and check the availability of products

Project-related cooperation with other departments.

Advise and support the Sales Engineer in engineering-related matters

Liaise with Operations Departments to ensure performing deliveries

Coordinate site-specific requirements with the Product Specialist

Requirements

A Bachelor’s Degree / Professional Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.

Minimum 2 years of experience in scaffolding, formwork, shoring, or related industry

Proficiency in AutoCAD, and knowledge of other software (Solidworks, Revit, Sketchup, and Microstation) will be an added advantage

Familiarity with architectural, civil, electrical, or mechanical drafting.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Fluent in English and ability to read and converse in Mandarin is a must to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

Good analytical skills and synthesis capacities
