RELIACRAFT TECHNOLOGIES SDN BHD – Kota, Kedah

As a Design Engineer at RELIACRAFT TECHNOLOGIES SDN BHD, you will play a crucial role in the development and improvement of mechanical products and systems. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for designing, analysing and optimising mechanical components and assemblies to ensure they meet technical specifications, safety standards and customer requirements. This is a full-time position based in Sungai Petani, Kedah.

What you'll be doing

• Conducting detailed design and analysis of mechanical components and systems using computer-aided design (CAD) software
• Developing and testing prototypes to validate design concepts and performance
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing and quality assurance, to ensure seamless product development
• Identifying opportunities for design improvements to enhance efficiency, reliability and cost-effectiveness
• Preparing detailed engineering drawings, technical specifications and reports
• Ensuring design compliance with relevant industry standards, regulatory requirements and best practices
• Providing technical support and troubleshooting throughout the product lifecycle

What we're looking for

• Bachelor\'s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a design engineering role, preferably in the manufacturing industry
• Proficient in using CAD software, such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD, for 3D modelling and design
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and creatively
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of engineering principles, design methodologies and manufacturing processes
• Familiarity with project management tools and techniques
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
