Job summary

A financial institution located in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a dedicated professional to manage SME deposit growth and strategy. The role requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in sales and marketing, with a focus on corporate sales. Responsibilities include managing a portfolio of non-borrowing SMEs, executing growth strategies, and ensuring compliance with bank policies. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing customer relationships and increasing market share for SME deposits.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably with corporate sales experience.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for SME deposit growth and strategy.
  • Manage and acquire a portfolio of non-borrowing NTB and non-borrowing SME HVC.
  • Execute growth strategies for SME deposits for the Region.
  • Increase market share of SME deposits.
  • Customer relationship management to ensure highest service levels.
  • Acquire and nurture a list of corporations for payroll through employee salary bank switching.
  • Develop and implement sales strategy to achieve deposit growth budget.
  • Liaise with deposit product development team on campaigns and launches.
  • Drive joint marketing efforts with various SBGs.
  • Increase earnings potential and revenue relationships with customers.
  • Formulate and execute account plans to increase earnings potential.
  • Provide reporting required by SME department including sales update reports.
  • Ensure timely delivery of customer solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with code of ethics during sales processes.
  • Adhere to audit, risk, and compliance standards set by the Bank.

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE

  • Execute growth strategies for SME deposits for the Region
  • To increase market share of SME deposits
  • Customer relationship management and interface to ensure highest service levels
Responsibilities
Sales Planning & Activities
  • To acquire and nurture a list of corporations to sign-up Payroll through switching of employee salary bank
  • Develop and implement sales strategy to achieve deposit growth budget for the Region focusing on top SME non-borrowing portfolio
  • Liaise with deposit product development team on new campaigns and new product launches
  • Drive joint marketing effort with various SBGs
  • Develop and increase earnings potential and revenue relationships with customer through maintaining the relationship and servicing of customers’ needs
  • Formulate, complete and execute account plans for customers to increase earning potential and revenue relationships
  • To increase market share of SME deposits
Sales Management
  • Provide all reporting required by SME department such as weekly sales update reports include new sign-up payroll companies, on-boarding status & road shows
  • Ensure timely and quality delivery of customer solution
Operations & Compliance
  • Ensure compliance of code of ethics during sales process and activities
  • Adhere to audit, risk and compliance standards & policies set by the Bank
Preferred level of Experience (by years/function/industry)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sales and marketing preferable with corporate sales experience
