Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Own demand forecasting with a 24 month view.

Job Description: This role owns demand planning and inventory management for the Orthopaedics business in Malaysia. You will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Supply, and Regional Planning teams to deliver accurate forecasts, healthy inventory levels, and strong product availability. The role plays a key part in IBP discussions, supports new product launches and phase‑in/phase‑out activities, and helps the business respond effectively to demand changes or supply challenges.

Job Responsibilities

  • Own demand forecasting with a 24 month view
  • Lead demand reviews and support IBP / S&OP discussions
  • Work closely with Sales and Marketing to align forecasts with business plans
  • Partner with Supply teams to ensure product availability and on time supply
  • Handle inventory levels, slow moving and obsolete stocks (SLOB)
  • Support new product launches, phase in / phase out and product discontinuation
  • Lead supply disruptions, shortages, and sudden demand changes
  • Track planning important metrics, identify issues, and drive improvement actions

Job Requirements

  • Preferably 6 years and above of experience in Demand Planning or Supply Chain (medtech / pharma preferred)
  • Strong experience working in a global setting, and experienced in partnering with local and regional teams to drive shared outcomes
  • Good understanding of end-to-end supply chain and customer demand
  • Comfortable working with Sales, Marketing, and Regional teams
  • Strong analytical skills and confident using Excel for planning and analysis
  • Experience with SAP, BW, or planning tools (Power BI is a plus)
  • Takes ownership of work and follows through to deliver outcomes and can work independently
  • Strong communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus)
