Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Data Scientist to join CFI Team. In this role, you will leverage data to optimize our user journeys from lead generation to trading and guide our team towards data-driven decision making.

Main tasks and responsibilities

• Develop and improve “traditional” machine learning models (examples classification, regression, and clustering models).
• Contribute to building AI agents and applications using large language models (LLMs).
• Work with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems and tools like LangChain.
• Support the implementation of data pipelinesand ML workflows within Databricks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineering, product, and
• business stakeholders.
• Assist in monitoring model performance.
• Analyze large datasets to extract actionable insights, validate hypotheses, and support business decision-making.
• Develop scripts and utilities for data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model
• evaluation.
• Help integrate models with APIs and financial data sources.
• Follow best practices in coding, testing, and documentation.
• Participate in model and code reviews, ensuring quality and adherence to team
• standards.
• Stay current on advancements in AI, LLMs, and data science to propose and evaluate new approaches.
• Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and knowledge sharing.

Education and Experience

• Expert-level proficiency in classification, regression, boosting, and clustering algorithms including working with ML libraries (like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Keras)
• Familiarity with LLMs and AI agent frameworks (e.g., LangChain)
• Hands-on experience in RAG systems
• Hands-on experience of model communication protocols (MCP) and integration patterns
• Experience with Databricks or similar ML platforms
• Basic understanding of MLOpsand deploying modelsinto production
• Proficiency in Python and SQL; knowledge of ETL/ELT processes
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Data Science, or related field
• Familiarity with real-time data processing and streaming architectures
• Bonus: experience in fintech, financial markets, or working with financial APIs
