Responsibilities

About the Job: The job is to use data analysis, statistical techniques, machine learning, and domain knowledge to extract valuable insights and solve complex problems.

You will work in an AGILE team to solve complex customers’ challenges. Performing data collection and cleaning, perform exploratory data analysis, develop and implement machine learning models and algorithms for predictive analytics, and deliver clear and informative data visualization.

About the Team: We are part of the PathWave Manufacturing Analytics R&D team that is responsible for the growth of the Keysight businesses. The team consists of Manager, Architect, Data Engineers, Data Scientists, UI/UX Developers and DevOps Engineers, delivering first‑in‑class software solutions to our customers.

Responsibilities: The candidate is responsible for leveraging data to extract valuable insights, make predictions, and drive business decisions across a wide range of industries and domains. Candidate’s responsibilities require a combination of technical skills, domain expertise, and effective communication to deliver actionable results.

As the data scientist, you will do the following:

  • Work with stakeholders to understand goals
  • Explore ideas/solution to resolve customers’ use‑cases
  • Acquire and clean data
  • Perform data investigation and exploratory analysis
  • Identify potential model and algorithms
  • Apply science techniques with test measurement techniques
  • Present result to stakeholders
  • Work with development team to implement data science model into PathWave Manufacturing Analytics (PMA) solution
  • Work on data parser to output JSON format suitable for PMA solution
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematical, or related discipline.
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in Data Scientist related roles.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Experience working on different algorithms like linear regression, k‑nearest neighbor, decision tree, etc.
  • Knowledge of big data databases like HBase and Hive is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Python & Java languages will be preferred.
  • Knowledge in electronics measurement domain will be preferred.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Good problem‑solving skills.
  • Good team member.
