Job summary

A leading electrical engineering firm based in Johor, Malaysia, is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design, review, and develop electrical systems. The role involves complying with safety standards and supporting maintenance activities. The ideal candidate should have a Diploma in Electrical Engineering and fluency in Mandarin for client interactions. A strong sense of responsibility and experience managing O&M teams are essential. Proficiency in CAD and Office software is required, alongside a relevant qualification for operating medium voltage equipment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of O&M experience in data center electrical infrastructure or 3 years in electrical equipment O&M.
• Familiar with data center O&M systems and capable of fault diagnosis for various types of power distribution equipment.
• Must hold a qualification compliant with Malaysian regulations for medium voltage equipment.

Responsibilities

• Design, review, and develop electrical systems and specifications.
• Support preventive maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards.
• Prepare technical reports and maintain accurate records.
