Job description
Responsibilities
  • Uphold Company’s Mission Statement, Quality Policy, and Values and Beliefs
  • Answering queries, taking and entering orders on JD Edwards system, making sure accurate data maintenance
  • Confirming shipments and invoicing
  • Sending Certificates of Analysis as required and managing inventories as required in Johor/Shanghai plants
  • Coordinate with Sales Manager to ensure that customers needs are satisfied and follow up with payment schedules
  • Logistics vendor management, including get quotations, compare prices, documents follow up, shipment arrangement, payment and communication
  • Supporting customers, including offering requested documents and handling complaints
  • Customer VAT invoice printing and delivery
  • Maintaining current pricing and customer information
  • Sending Certificates of Analysis as required and managing inventories as required in the Malaysia Plant
  • Familiar with export terminology and rules (incoterms, L/C’s, etc)
  • Liaising with Shipping Companies
  • Negotiate freight rates and track shipments
  • Ensuring that customer needs are satisfied, and making personal contact/relationship building where appropriate
  • Coordinate with other Customer Support counterparts (e.g. in China, Malaysia, North America) to service customers where needed
  • Respond to any customer who calls, and then refer follow up to appropriate person if the account is assigned elsewhere
  • Works closely with lab, shipping and receiving to aid in the scheduling of production for shipments
  • Keep an active update of internal delivery plan after receiving PO, and inform related parities (production, lab, sales managers)
  • Files as required
  • Other duties as required or assigned by superior
Requirements
  • Solid knowledge and experience in logistics and exporting (letter of credit, incoterms, order processing)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with a caring, can-do attitude; Excellent computer skills required (Word, Excel, Internet, and PowerPoint, SalesForce, ERP system)
  • Able to work effectively with a remote environment; good at follow up with different parties and drive for results
  • Must be self-starter with the ability to prioritize projects, and take direction from multiple team leaders
  • Must have a positive attitude and be a flexible, energetic source for administrative duties. Attention to detail, focused on accurate work
  • Good English, Malay and Chinese language Skills – verbal and written
