Job description
Position Overview

This role supports air and ocean import/export operations by preparing shipment documentation, performing system declarations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing timely updates to customers. The position also helps identify risks, improve processes, and prepare billings as required by Management.

Job Responsibilities
  • Prepare all necessary documentation for air freight shipments, including air waybills, commercial invoices, packing lists, and customs declarations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Perform system declaration for import and export such as K1, K2, K3, K8, K9, ZB etc.
  • Communicate and update customers proactively on shipment status. Addressing inquiries and concerns to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Stay abreast of import and export regulations, trade agreements, and compliance requirements.
  • Identify and highlight potential risks and compliance issues, to mitigate these risks while ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory standards.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, implement best practices and innovative solutions to streamline workflows, and enhance overall operational performance.
  • Prepare invoices/billings timely.
  • Any other duties assigned by the Management.
Job Requirements / Qualifications
  • Possess at least a Diploma in Supply Chain / Logistics / Business Administration or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in Logistics, Freight Forwarding or similar industry.
  • Good working knowledge in Microsoft Office.
  • Able to work independently and in a group, result‑oriented, and highly motivated.
  • A fast learner, pro‑active, self‑driven, and self‑motivated person.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong communication and coordination abilities (Mandarin/English/Malay). We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin‑speaking clients.
  • Detailed, organized, and good time management.
  • Able to commence work immediately is an added advantage.
