Job summary

A manufacturing company in Seberang Perai is seeking a proactive Customer Support Executive to manage customer orders, enhance customer satisfaction, and liaise with internal teams. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree and at least one year of relevant experience in customer service or sales support. Responsibilities

Job description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Customer Support Executive. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing customer orders, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining strong customer relationships. This role requires effective coordination among customers & internal departments to meet customer expectations and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Manage customer orders and coordinate with production and planning teams on customer delivery schedule.
  • Monitor and maintain On-Time Delivery (OTD) performance, aiming to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain good rapport with existing customers and encourage continuous orders.
  • Ensure all quotation records are accurate and up to date.
  • Document and manage customer requirements, ensuring they are clearly communicated and executed as needed.
  • Liaise with Engineering department on product modification/customization.
  • Ensure shipment is arranged by shipping department as per scheduled & fulfil customer requirement.
  • Attend to customer inquiries, defects feedback and solve customer's doubt.
  • Support and participate in department improvement initiatives to achieve operational excellence.
Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in related field.
  • Required language(s): English & Bahasa Malaysia. Candidate fluent in Mandarin is an added advantage in dealing with Mandarin speaking overseas customers.
  • At least 1 year of working experience in Manufacturing line and Customer Service / Sales Support divisions is preferred.
  • Committed & matured candidate are preferred.
  • Knowledge & experience in ERP systems is an added advantage.
