Job summary

A logistics solutions provider in Selangor, Malaysia is seeking a Customer Experience Agent to shape customer perceptions and manage the entire customer journey, from schedule enquiry to booking. Ideal candidates will have at least 1 year of experience in freight forwarding and a Bachelor's Degree. Knowledge of shipping logistics and proficiency in Chinese are advantageous. This position requires effective communication with various stakeholders in the shipping process and thorough documentation management.

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of working experience in freight forwarding/NVOCC/liner companies.
  • At least 1+ years of experience in ocean export/import operations.
  • Good understanding of export/import documentations and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Arranging booking as per requirement.
  • Maintaining documentation related to shipping activities.
  • Communicate and liaise with importers, exporters, shipping lines and overseas partner through phone and email.

As the Customer Experience Agent, you will play a critical role in shaping how customers perceive the company. You will own the customer journey with the company – from schedule enquiry to booking arrangement, from submitting Shipping Instruction to invoice.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Arranging booking as per requirement.
  • Maintaining documentation related to shipping activities.
  • Communicate and liaise with importers, exporters, shipping lines and overseas partner through phone and email.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of working experience in freight forwarding/NVOCC/liner companies.
  • At least 1+ years of experience in ocean export/import operations.
  • Good understanding of shipping and logistics, and export/import documentations and procedures.
  • Experience in handling USA shipments is an added advantage.
  • Experience in handling import shipments is an added advantage.
  • Proficient in Chinese is an added advantage.
