Job Summary

• As a CSSD Technician in the Operating Theatre at Hospital Picaso, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective delivery of surgical procedures.
• Working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, you will be responsible for the decontamination, sterilisation, and preparation of surgical instruments and equipment.
• This is a full-time position based in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.

Job Responsibilities

• Carefully clean, decontaminate, and sterilise surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies using specialised techniques and equipment.
• Organise and stock the CSSD (Central Sterile Services Department) to maintain appropriate inventory levels.
• Distribute sterile items to the operating theatres and other departments as required.
• Maintain detailed records and documentation of all sterilisation processes.
• Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and infection control protocols.

Job Requirements

• Formal qualification in sterile processing, such as a Diploma in Sterilisation Technology or an equivalent qualification.
• At least 1–2 years of experience as a CSSD Technician or in a similar role within a healthcare setting.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to follow precise protocols and procedures.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with the surgical team.
