Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Malaysia seeks a Cost Estimator specialized in Low Voltage switchboards. The successful candidate will have a Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering and at least 4–5 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and estimation tools is essential, while knowledge of AutoCAD is advantageous. Candidates must demonstrate strong analytical skills and teamwork capabilities, with the ability to effectively communicate in Mandarin to liaise with clients. Strong knowledge of LV systems, switchgear components, and manufacturing processes.

• Assist in tender submissions and client negotiations when required.
• Track and update costing data to reflect current market rates.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and support value engineering efforts.
• Ensure all estimates comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.
