JOB PURPOSE
- Pro-actively managing and developing effective client relationships, identifying and managing solutions to meet a wide range of client needs and promoting products and services
- Generating and growing revenue streams through effective client management
- Developing a comprehensive understanding of the client’s financial needs and demonstrating strong product and service knowledge in order to match the bank’s offering with client needs
- Generating new client acquisitions and selling products to new clients; liaising with the sales team to ensure the quality of leads referred is to the required standard
- Conducting KYC reviews and risk assessments associated with on-boarding new clients
- Overseeing the credit risk associated with assigned client relationships
- Maintaining and updating accurate client information; taking ownership of client service requests and enquiries
- Making proactive client calls and responding swiftly to client requests
Working with other Relationship Managers to enhance the service offered and improve revenue generation
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Market for new corporate loans and grow the existing corporate loan portfolio
- Source new corporate loans through active marketing activities.
- Maintain good relationship with existing corporate clients and solicit for incremental deals as well as referrals.
- Ensure that deals are processed and submitted in timely manner within the specified turnaround time.
- Increase depth of relationship and provide holistic solutions to meet customers’ needs and maximize risk adjusted returns (RAROC / ROA) from the assigned portfolio in line with agreed business plan.
- Undertake timely assessment on any relevant adverse market news and/or unsatisfactory account conduct which may affect the credit profile of the borrowers.
- Work closely with Trade and Treasury to solicit for utilization of facilities granted.
Grow new and incremental CASA and non-CASA Deposits, and other ancillary businesses
- Source for deposits in order to meet deposit targets.
- Value add and enhance banking relationship with other Group products i.e insurances, merchants, wealth, mortgage and etc.
Housekeeping and Relationship Management
- Actively manage existing corporate portfolios and ensure that all accounts are reviewed in timely manner (zero overdue reviews).
- Process and attend to all variations/ad-hoc/other requests from Commercial customers in timely manner.
- Monitor conduct of accounts (including covenants imposed), ensure fair share of business secured and prompt payment of facilities.
- Manage Early care and Watch List accounts.
- Timely submission of all reports which require by relevant departments.
