Job description

Reporting to the Corporate Affairs Assistant Manager, this is an exciting opportunity for a talented Corporate Communication Executive to join the dynamic team at CAPE EMS BERHAD. You will be responsible for developing and executing effective communication strategies that promote the company's brand, reputation and key messages. This is a full-time, office-based role located in Senai, Johor.

What you'll be doing
  • Assist to create company literature and other forms of communication.
  • Ensure brand consistency across communication channels by copyediting and revising communication materials.
  • Support the development, organization, and maintenance of content on the company website and intranet.
  • Ensure that website and intranet content is up-to-date, relevant, and accessible.
  • Support the coordination and execution of media interviews, and company events such as townhalls.
  • Assist in prepare writeups for company website.
  • Capture images and videos of important company events to be uploaded to the website and inclusion in the Annual Report.
  • Assist to outline, edit, and produce engaging multimedia content for internal and external communication purposes.
  • Assist to liaise with external groups for magazine publicity or award nomination.
  • Perform and assume other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned.
What we're looking for
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Fresh graduate is welcome to apply.
  • 1 – 2 years of experience in the media, content writing, marketing, advertising, or a similar role.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Independent, self‑motivated, and proactive.
  • Demonstrates resourcefulness, teamwork, and high integrity.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms.
  • Proficiency in documentation tools, such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
  • Proficiency in graphic design tools, such as Canva, etc.
  • Proficiency in video editing software, such as DaVinci Resolve etc.
  • Photography is an added advantage.
