A reputable multi-national kitchen is looking for a qualified Cook in Malaysia, Perak to prepare and manage meals for students and staff. The successful candidate will work closely with the head chef and engage positively with customers. Qualifications

Cezars Kitchen is looking for a qualified Cook to join our kitchen in International School in Bandar Meru Raya, Ipoh, Perak.

Requirements
  • Ability to cook a wide range of foods in large batch quantities: International menus
  • Be a qualified cook: (Certificated available upon request)
  • Passionate about food!
  • Positive and inviting attitude - you will need to engage and have conversations with customers
  • Enjoy working around children: You're cooking for and catering to students, faculty, staff and parents
  • Self‑motivated and can work with the team
  • Minimum of 1 year of working experience in either a) school kitchens, b) hotels or c) restaurants
Responsibilities
  • Work with the head chef to prepare daily meals
  • Plan menus by consulting with head chef, estimate food costs and profits
  • Kitchen operations management when Head Chef not present
  • Own transportation to/from work location
  • Ability to stand for several hours at a time in a fast‑paced kitchen
  • Ability and willingness to learn new recipes/processes and techniques
  • Integrity to follow company policies and procedures (SOPs)
  • Work quickly and under time constraints; will be advised during the interview
  • Has valid Typhoid Vaccine and Food Handling Course Certificate.
