Requirements
- Strong ability to plan, shoot, and produce video content, including interviews, short‑form videos, reels, TikTok‑style clips, and event highlights.
- Familiar with current social media trends, audience behaviour, and content formats across IG, TikTok, FB, XHS, YouTube Shorts, and more.
- Proficient in video editing tools such as CapCut, VN, Adobe Premiere Rush, Final Cut, or similar.
- Able to work on‑site during event days to capture real‑time content, vendor features, crowd interactions, and ambience.
- Creative storytelling skills with a strong eye for composition, pacing, and emotional engagement.
- Able to conceptualise ideas from scratch, including storyboards, shot lists, and narrative flow.
- Basic photography skills (product, lifestyle, and event shots).
- Able to multitask and work effectively in fast‑paced, event‑driven environments.
- Able to communicate in English and Mandarin.
Responsibilities
Content Planning & Strategy
- Plan and conceptualise video content aligned with event themes, vendor stories, and community‑driven narratives.
- Research and identify trending formats to ensure content remains fresh, relevant, and engaging.
- Develop content calendars, shot lists, and storyboards for pre‑event, during‑event, and post‑event phases.
Video Production
- Produce engaging short videos, reels, TikTok clips, interviews, and vendor highlights tailored to each platform.
- Capture on‑ground moments during markets, workshops, and festivals — including crowd shots, ambience, BTS, and hero moments.
- Conduct vendor interviews or storytelling sessions to highlight brands and create emotional connection with viewers.
- Edit content into multiple aspect ratios (9:16, 1:1, 4:5, 16:9) for platform optimisation.
Content Publishing & Optimization
- Export final videos optimised for IG Reels, TikTok, XHS, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, etc.
- Work closely with the social media team to refine posting schedules and creative direction.
- Track content performance and adjust future content strategies accordingly.
On‑Ground Market Engagement
- Attend events to capture real‑time happenings and showcase the true energy of the market.
- Coordinate with vendors to film product features, booth setups, customer interactions, and unique selling points.
- Identify potential viral moments on the spot during event days.
