Requirement
  • Possess a Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Safety Officer in construction projects.
  • Proficient in Construction Safety practices and OSHA 、DOSH SSS、CIDB Green Card compliance regulations or any.
  • Proven ability to conduct thorough incident investigations and root cause analysis.
  • Experience in developing and implementing emergency response plans.
  • Capable of delivering effective safety training programs to construction personnel.
  • Skilled in performing risk assessments and hazard identification on construction sites.
  • Fluency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin is required for effective communication with the diverse workforce.
Responsibility
  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety programs and procedures for construction projects, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards, unsafe conditions, and non-compliance issues, and implement corrective actions.
  • Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes, and develop and implement preventative measures to avoid recurrence.
  • Develop and deliver safety training programs for construction workers, supervisors, and subcontractors, covering topics such as hazard recognition, fall protection, and confined space entry.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate safety records, including inspection reports, incident reports, training records, and safety meeting minutes.
  • Conduct risk assessments for construction activities, identifying potential hazards and developing control measures to mitigate risks.
  • Coordinate emergency response planning and conduct drills to ensure preparedness for potential emergencies on construction sites.
