Job summary

A construction firm in Penang is seeking a Construction Manager to manage and supervise building projects. You will lead site personnel, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure project quality and compliance with regulations. Qualifications

Construction Manager (Outsource Contract)

Manage, coordinate, and supervise the overall works of building construction;

Lead a team of site personnel and workers in the planning and execution of day to day operations;

Monitor overall reporting of work progress to the Management;

Provide support by responding to issues / problems arising;

Coordinate and liaise with all consultants, sub-contractors, clients, and other relevant stakeholders;

Monitor and regulate the quality of performance of sub-contractors;

Plan and review the project schedule and budget when necessary;

Implement policies, procedures, and instructions required by the Management;

Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Job Requirements
  • Candidate must posses a bachelor's degree in engineering or related field;
  • Minimum 1 or 2 years of experience as a Construction Manager or in a similar role;
  • Strong technical skills and the ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and data
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and critical thinking abilities
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Proficient in project management software and tools
  • Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and safety standards
