Job Responsibilities
- Strategic Sales Leadership – Develop and execute robust sales strategies that drive channel management and key account growth, while building strong customer and stakeholder relationships across multiple markets.
- Commercial & Value-Driven Mindset – Champion value-based selling and operational excellence, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement to deliver sustainable business results.
- Team Development & Performance Management – Lead and coach the sales team to achieve revenue and profitability targets, implementing structured training programs to build technical and solution-selling capabilities.
- Business Expansion & Innovation – Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including market expansion, product innovation, and strategic partnerships to strengthen market presence.
- Data-Driven Decision Making – Utilize market insights and competitor analysis to refine pricing strategies, improve forecasting accuracy, and optimize trade spend for maximum impact.
- Operational Oversight – Ensure effective management of forecasting, inventory, debt collection, and customer service performance to maintain smooth business operations and mitigate risks.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Food Science, or related field. MBA or similar would be an added advantage.
- Comes with at least 10 - 15 years of experience in business development, key account management, and distributor management.
- Experience within food ingredients, having handled the food service channel, including but not limited to bakeries, cafes, and hotels.
- Strong business acumen, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
