The successful candidate will drive compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies while advising management on legal matters. Job description

We are seeking a dedicated Compliance Officer to join our team at QL Figo (Johor) Sdn. Bhd. in Kulai, Johor. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in assisting our company in driving the compliance with regulatory requirements, standard and internal policies procedure as well as facilities initiatives to mitigate risk of non‑compliance.

What you’ll be doing
  • Driving the company’s compliance with the relevant standards, regulatory requirements and internal policies/procedures.
  • Providing top‑down support, working with compliance owners of various compliance areas to achieve compliance objectives.
  • Providing advisory to management regarding emerging, up‑to‑date regulatory requirements, legal and contractual matters.
  • Controlling assessment checklists for compliance audit and ensuring fulfillment of HQ requirements.
  • Undertaking internal compliance audits, special examinations and investigations assigned by HQ.
  • Maintaining the company’s legal and regulatory risk register and compiling ESG and risk‑management reports.
  • Instilling a compliance culture among employees through guidance, coaching and mentoring.
  • Implementing and monitoring the compliance program & SOP.
What we’re looking for
  • Diploma/Degree in Accounting/Finance or any related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a compliance or risk management role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent knowledge and experience in advisory, investigation and policy making.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Resourceful, attentive to details and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
