Job summary

A leading recruitment platform in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Company Secretary at various levels: Junior, Semi Senior, and Senior. Responsibilities include preparing and lodging statutory documents, handling inquiries, and maintaining statutory records. The ideal candidate should possess at least a Professional Certificate in Secretarial or equivalent, with 1 year of related experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and languages including English and Bahasa Malaysia is essential. This role offers a dynamic environment for those able to work independently and work with external parties.

Qualifications

  • Must possess at least Professional Certificate, Graduate Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree in Secretarial.
  • At least 1 year of working experience in a related field required.
  • Candidate with extensive experience without qualification will be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and lodge statutory documents and annual returns in accordance with Companies Act 2016.
  • Prepare directors and members resolutions and minutes of meetings.
  • Handle customer inquiries and concerns.

Proficient in spoken and written English
Proficient in spoken and written Bahasa Malaysia
Good communication skills

Education

Professional Certificate in Secretarial

Job description
Company Secretary (Junior, Semi Senior, Senior)

Experience with MyCoID, MBRS and e-BOS for SSM online submission.

Prepare, arrange and timely lodgement of statutory documents, annual returns and other secretarial matters in accordance with the requirements of Companies Act 2016 and other authorities.

Prepare directors and members resolution, minutes of meeting and other secretarial documents.

Prepare, submit and make payment for stamp duty.

Handling customers or potential customers enquiries and concerns.

Maintain statutory books, register books secretary records.

Liaise with external parties such as other secretary firms, auditors, local authorities and others.

Job Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate / Graduate Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Secretarial or equivalent.

Candidate with at least ICSA or part ICSA qualification preferred.

Those candidate without qualification but with extensive experience will also be considered.

Pleasant personality and able to work independently.

Proficient in Microsoft Office application, such as MS Word and MS Excel.

Proficient in spoken and written in English & Bahasa Malaysia, for candidate able to speak in Mandarin is an advantage.

At least 1 year of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
