Job description

We are seeking a talented Commis Cook (Commis I) to join our dynamic team at PANJI PANORAMA SDN. BHD. in Langkawi, Kedah. As a Commis Cook, you will be responsible for assisting senior chefs in the preparation and cooking of a variety of delicious dishes, ensuring exceptional quality and service to our guests.

What you'll be doing
  • Cook and prepare menu items under the guidance of the Chef de Partie or Sous Chef.
  • Ensure all dishes are prepared according to company quality, taste, and presentation standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the workstation, kitchen equipment, and comply with food safety standards (HACCP/Food Safety).
  • Properly store raw materials following the FIFO system and ensure sufficient stock levels.
  • Assist in receiving and checking goods delivered by suppliers.
  • Handle kitchen equipment properly and report any damages to the supervisor.
  • Work closely with other kitchen team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Chef or Management.
What we're looking for
