Position Summary

As a Commis Chef, you will play a vital role in the kitchen, assisting with the preparation and cooking of dishes. You will work closely with our talented chefs, gaining valuable experience and honing your culinary skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of ingredients and mise en place for daily service
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation
  • Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
  • Assist with stock control and inventory management
  • Receive and store deliveries appropriately
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Head Chef or Sous Chef
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a kitchen environment / culinary school diploma or relevant certification is a plus
  • Basic knowledge of culinary techniques and practices
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for food
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast‑paced environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
