Jiasheng New Energy Technology – Kulai, Johor

The CNC Machinist is responsible for setting up, programming, operating, and maintaining CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines to produce precision metal parts. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints, and proficiency with precision measuring tools. The CNC Machinist ensures all machined parts meet strict quality standards, adheres to safety protocols, and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives in the manufacturing process.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Read technical drawings and set up the machines in accordance with the blueprint.
  • Starts and observes machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, and adjusts machine controls as required.
  • Select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines such as mills, lathes.
  • Calculate and set controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, depth and angle of cut, or enter commands to retrieve, input, or edit computerized machine control media.
  • Ensure tooling used for day-to-day operations are in good condition and report tool breakages to immediate supervisor.
  • Carry out safety and maintenance measures and regulations to ensure the good condition of machines and tools.
  • Align machine settings with the schedule plan & modify CNC program and parameters to meet specifications in machining drawing.
  • Assist in the tool exchange for production & planning tools for machining drawing & update daily output report and machine condition report to immediate supervisor.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Professional Certificate in CNC machining.
  • At least 2-3 years of working experience in CNC Machining Production field.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Knowledge of using measurement instruments and equipment to verify mechanical dimensions.
  • Good self-driven positive attitude and able to work independently.
