Job summary

A precision machining company in Johor, Malaysia seeks a Project Assistant Manager who will assist in tracking CNC machining project progress, facilitating communication among teams, and handling project documentation. Candidates must possess a diploma in a relevant field and have a basic understanding of CNC machining. Proficiency in English, Malay, and Mandarin is essential for effective stakeholder communication. Willingness to travel to China and the US is required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or above in Mechanical, CNC, or related disciplines required.
• Knowledge of CNC machining processes is essential.
• Experience in the CNC or manufacturing industry is preferred.

• Assist the Project Manager in tracking CNC machining project progress.
• Coordinate communication among Engineering, Production, Purchasing, and Quality teams.
• Prepare project documentation, schedules, and progress reports.

Job description

Assist the Project Manager in tracking overall progress of CNC machining projects 协助项目经理跟进 CNC 加工项目的整体进度

Coordinate communication among Engineering, Production, Purchasing, and Quality teams 协调工程、生产、采购及品质部门之间的沟通

Follow up on CNC drawings, process documents, BOMs, and technical documentation 跟进 CNC 加工图纸、工艺文件、BOM 表及相关技术资料

Assist with prototype trials, first article inspection, and mass production launch 协助样品试产、首件确认及量产导入

Monitor machining progress, delivery schedules, and subcontracting status 跟进加工进度、交期及外协加工状态

Support handling of production issues, engineering changes, and problem tracking 协助处理生产异常、工程变更及问题记录

Prepare project documentation, schedules, and progress reports 整理项目资料，制作进度表及项目报告

Assist with project acceptance and technical communication with customers when required 协助项目验收及客户技术沟通（如需要）

Diploma or above in Mechanical, CNC, or Engineering-related disciplines 大专及以上学历，机械、数控或工程相关专业优先

Basic knowledge of CNC machining (turning, milling, machining centers, etc.) 了解 CNC 加工基础知识（车削、铣削、加工中心等）

Ability to read basic mechanical drawings (2D / 3D) 能看懂基本机械图纸（2D / 3D)

Experience in CNC machining or manufacturing industry is an advantage 有 CNC 加工厂或制造业经验者优先

Language Skills: Proficiency in English, Malay & Mandarin is required to effectively communicate with various stakeholders 需要会马来语，英语，华语

Travel: Willing to travel to CHINA & US 愿意出差到中国和美国
