Job description

Role

• Set up and operate CNCAuto‑lathe machines according to specifications and production yield
• Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards
• Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machining equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure adherence to specifications
• Collaborate with other machinists and engineers to improve processes and enhance production efficiency
• Follow safety procedures, workplace regulations, and keep the work area organized (5S principles)
• Document production activities and maintain accurate records of work performed according to the Company’s ISO 9001 requirements
• Mentor trainee machinists, provide guidance and training on best practices when required

Requirements

• Minimum SPM or equivalent with at least 1 year experience in machining or CNC Auto‑lathe operations
• Basic understanding of machining processes and lathe operations
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings
• Basic knowledge of G‑code programming and machine setup
• Experience in micro parts fabrication and precision measuring instruments such as toolmaker’s microscope, micrometres, etc. will be an added advantage
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Possess a proactive approach to learning
• Able to work together in a team‑oriented environment
• Able to work on rotating shifts to meet operational requirements
