Job summary

A leading Injection Molding Manufacturer in Malaysia is seeking a CMM Programmer with a Bachelor's Degree in Metrology Engineering or equivalent. The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in QA/QC in plastic injection molding. Key responsibilities include managing quality requirements for NPI, conducting statistical analyses, and training the technical team on advanced metrology. Qualifications

  • Minimum Degree in Metrology Engineering, Science or Mechanical engineering or equivalent.
  • Preferably with min 2 years working experience in QA/QC, preferably in Plastic Injection moulding.
  • Well versed in product's drawing, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.

Responsibilities

  • Directed Quality requirements for NPI and product transfers, authoring comprehensive Quality Control Plans.
  • Defined critical acceptance criteria and conducted statistical analysis.
  • Managed manufacturing quality issues and executed material recall procedures.
  • Led and trained the technical team on advanced dimensional metrology standards.
  • Represented Quality Engineering on project teams.

Job Summary

We are currently looking for a CMM Programmer to join a leading Injection Molding Manufacturer in Malaysia! This position requires your urgent attention.

Location & Reporting
  • Based in Selangor
  • Reporting to: Quality Manager
Responsibilities
  • Directed Quality requirements for NPI and product transfers, authoring comprehensive Quality Control Plans and all associated validation protocols (V&V).
  • Defined critical acceptance criteria and conducted statistical analysis to prove process and measurement system capability.
  • Managed manufacturing quality issues, determined the disposition of non-conforming material, and executed material recall procedures.
  • Led and trained the technical team on advanced dimensional metrology (including vision systems); maintained strict calibration and verification standards for all IM&TE.
  • Represented Quality Engineering on project teams, ensuring compliance and successful launch readiness.
Experience
  • Minimum Degree in Metrology Engineering, Science or Mechanical engineering or equivalent.
  • Preferably with min 2 years working experience in QA/QC, preferably in Plastic Injection moulding.
  • Well verse in product's drawing, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.
  • Strong proficiency in interpreting 2D technical drawings, advanced metrology principles, and analytical problem-solving methodologies.
