The Cluster Lead CRC is responsible for the overall execution of the team and for developing and holding the right capabilities, tools and standard approaches to deliver functional excellence. In addition to partnering with the End‑to‑End Business Process Managers for the optimization in the area of standardization, simplification, quality adherence and efficiency while role modelling the Roche Values and Operating Principles. The Cluster Lead CRC will be a member of the CRC Product Line Leadership Team, reporting to the CRC Global Product Lead and will be expected to contribute to the development and execution of the strategic and operational goals and objectives of the business line implementing the global standardisation strategy to secure and ensure alignment across regions. Additionally, this leader will be a liaison and enabler between the other Cluster Leads, business leaders and other stakeholders with regards to the Credit, Receivables & Cash Management processes.

As a people manager this leader will actively coach and foster the development of the Cluster members to remove siloes and to evolve with the organic development of the business to drive collaboration across Product Line clusters, as well as, across Business Lines.

You’ll be :

  • Lead : coach and develop the cluster members. Identify training needs, build capability and provide coaching to meet the strategic and operational objectives within the respective Cluster. Propose and execute on people development initiatives.
  • Strategy: Communicate the global vision and translate the strategy into local objectives that people can connect to. Lead the execution of the strategic and operational action items. Role model and encourage behaviours based on the Roche Values and Operating Principles.
  • Process: Ensure quality and accurate delivery of CRC services within the agreed global key performance indicators (KPIs) as defined by Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and SOPs of the respective business sub‑process. With clarity on the global vision and strategy this leader will act as architect for the team and proactively collaborate with various business partners and management to anticipate business partners needs across clusters, across the region and across the globe preventing and removing silos within the organisation.
  • Continuous Improvement: Serve as a catalyst of Continuous Improvement and value‑adding mindset to the CRC organisation. Encourage operational improvements with clear linkage to our strategic purpose. Share best practices and learning across Clusters, Product or/or Business Lines.

Who you are:

  • Minimum 7 years working experience in the related field, preferably in the area of Credit, Receivables & Cash Management. 5+ years of People Management. Relevant experience using SAP or other ERP accounting system.
  • University or College Education, concentration on Business Finance or accounting.
  • Language: English required and other languages are a plu. Knowledge and/or experience in applying agile ways of working.
  • Business Capabilities: End‑to‑End understanding of R2R with a strong focus on credit, receivables and cash management. Dynamic and results‑oriented with deep understanding of shared services, GBS as well as, process management and best practices. Strong business and technical acumen. Strong ability to prioritise and organise work effectively.
  • People Capabilities: Enterprise & Systems Thinking. Strong communication skills, expressing ideas and expectations in a clear and concise manner. Proven track record of effective relationship and stakeholder management with diverse populations business partners. Solid Diversity & Inclusion mindset. Strong servant leadership skills based on Roche’s VACC and Leadership Commitments. Ability to proactive deliver requirements and objectives within tight deadlines.
