A leading technology firm is seeking a Cloud & Network Engineer responsible for ensuring the 24/7 availability and performance of cloud platforms. The role involves monitoring, incident response, and operational support across cloud and network domains. The Cloud & Network Engineer is responsible for the 24/7 availability, performance, and security of the organisation’s cloud platforms and network infrastructure.
This role operates in a shift-based environment, providing continuous monitoring, incident response, and operational support for critical business and customer services, covering both cloud and network domains.

Monitor, operate, and maintain cloud infrastructure (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP, or private cloud).
Perform daily operations including provisioning, scaling, backups, patching, and configuration changes.
Support and troubleshoot:
Handle service and access requests related to cloud resources and configurations.
Participate in capacity planning and optimisation of cloud resources.
Operate in a 24/7 shift rotation, using monitoring tools (e.g. CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, NMS, etc.).
Respond to alerts and events for cloud and network components within defined SLAs.
Perform initial triage, impact assessment, and classification of incidents (P1–P4).
Execute standard operating procedures (SOPs) and runbooks to restore services.
Escalate to L2/L3 teams, vendors, or other internal teams with clear technical documentation.
Provide timely status updates to stakeholders according to the incident communication process.
Implement approved changes to cloud and network infrastructure following the change management process.
Prepare implementation plans, back-out plans, and risk assessments for changes.
Ensure all changes are:
Comply with internal security policies, standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g. ISO 27001, local regulations).
Support implementation and enforcement of security controls:
Assist in vulnerability remediation, patching, and security incident response related to cloud and network infrastructure.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation:
Contribute to knowledge base (KB) articles for recurring incidents and standard fixes.
Recommend and support automation initiatives (e.g. scripting, IaC) to improve efficiency and reduce manual tasks.
A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Proficiency in major cloud provider platforms like Amazon Web Services (AWS) Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), Microsoft Azure Virtual Networks, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) VPC is favorable.
Demonstrate strong skills and experience in creating, maintaining, and utilizing comprehensive technical records of the network infrastructure and cloud environment.
