A leading medical device company is seeking a Clinical Specialist in Joint Replacement to provide technical support during surgeries, document product performance issues, and ensure customer satisfaction. This role requires a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Health Sciences and experience in scrubbing and Operation Theatre support. The position is based in Penang, Malaysia, and demands strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage stakeholders.

Job description
Clinical Specialist, Joint Replacement (Penang)
  • Provide effective technical consultative service to customers before, during and after routine joint replacement cases; driving patient and customer satisfaction
  • Ensure customers comprehend the technical specifications and usage instructions of Stryker products
  • Attend, scrub in and support routine primary surgical procedures
  • Confidently identify and troubleshoot product-related issues related to customers’ application of products
  • Document incidents regarding product performance issues; input into reports regarding these issues according to Company policies
  • Case prearrangement including instrument & implant kits monitoring
  • Provide inventory management and invoicing support at customer location
  • Assist in the return/addition of products resulting from field service issues, stock adjustments, maintenance and admin duties according to Company procedures
  • Support product training to colleagues and/or customers in both one-on-one and in-service settings
  • Keep updated on product knowledge and professional skills through internal training, external seminars and other sources

Who We Are Looking For:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Health Sciences related fields
  • Scrubbing and Operation Theatre case support experience in hospital settings
  • Thie role will be based in Penang, Malaysia
  • Good communication skills in spoken and written English
  • Possess the motivation and enthusiasm to positively impact patient outcomes using Stryker products
  • Good interpersonal skills to manage internal and external stakeholders
