Job Description Summary

The Clinical Specialist will work closely with in-country sales personnel and play an important role in supporting the execution of in-country clinical programs and ensure they are aligned to the region. The Clinical Specialist duties include traveling to healthcare facilities, introducing products to medical professionals, and training users on product functionalities. The Clinical Specialist is expected to understand and talk to the details and nuances of the products from a clinical perspective to external and internal customers.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide internal product expertise – organizing and conducting product and clinical trainings to sales team and others within the company when required to ensure efficiency in promotion of products to customers.
  • Provide expertise and support to sales team through joint preliminary product presentations and proposals on BD product/solutions and tender response.
  • Assist customers in adaptation of the products in their practice by arranging product demo sessions, in-service clinical trainings, seminars, and workshops to fully assist customers in implementation and evaluation of the products.
  • Conduct post-sale training sessions to individual product users, professional teams, or healthcare departments.
  • Align product solutions to customers supported by clinical risk assessment and associated training sessions, workshops or programs to maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Promotion of clinical solutions at customer sites as well as scientific meetings or events, helping in event coordination and set-up at individual sites.
  • Manage product samples inventory – tracking and replenishing in a timely manner.
  • Assist in developing related product training/presentation deck and customer learning materials.
  • Maintain a strong working partnership with external product advocates, key opinion leaders and collaboration partners to drive continuous clinical development and better patient outcomes.
  • Assist in collecting and reporting competitive intelligence and clinical development in the market.
Preferred Experience and Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related science is preferred.
  • Experience in clinical marketing through to execution in the Medical Device industry would be an advantage.
