Qualifications

Job description

Responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering clinical education and training programs to nursing staff to ensure competency, compliance with regulatory standards, and continuous improvement in patient care quality. The role supports clinical governance, staff development, and hospital accreditation (ISO and relevant healthcare standards).

  • Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate clinical training programs for nurses and nursing assistants.
  • Conduct orientation and induction programs for newly joined nursing staff.
  • Provide bedside teaching, coaching, mentoring, and supervision to enhance clinical competencies.
  • Organize and conduct in-house training, skills lab sessions, simulations, and Continuing Nursing Education (CNE).
  • Develop, implement, and maintain nursing competency assessment tools and skills validation checklists.
  • Conduct regular competency assessments and identify gaps in clinical practice.
  • Act as a clinical resource person for nursing staff on evidence-based practices, SOPs, and patient safety standards.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
  • Diploma or Bachelor of Nursing (recognized by LJM / Board of Nursing Malaysia).
  • Registered Nurse with valid Annual Practicing Certificate (APC).
