Job summary

A leading semiconductor company in Negeri Sembilan is seeking an HVAC Engineer to manage the operations of cleanroom heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 5 years of hands-on experience in HVAC systems, particularly in cleanroom environments. Excellent project management and communication skills are required. This role includes developing SOPs and ensuring compliance with ISO standards while contributing to sustainability initiatives.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years experience in HVAC systems and clean room projects.
• Experience in semiconductor industry cleanroom environments.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

CLEAN ROOM CONTAMINATION CONTROL / ENGR SR, FACILITIES PLANNER (MY11) HVAC ENGINEER

Responsibilities

• Responsible for 24 x 7 operations and maintenance of cleanroom heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems (HVAC) that ensure a controlled environment, maintaining air quality, temperature, humidity, filtration and pressurization.
• Develop, evaluate, and implement Standard Operating Procedures and performance measures to ensure cleanroom ISO standard compliance and meet quality requirement.
• Develop HVAC predictive and preventive maintenance SOP, timely and cost-effective maintenance in order to mitigate the risk of the equipment breakdown.
• Possessing a strong understanding of cleanroom protocols, dust control/particle count,
• Support internal / external quality audit, documentation and follow up on EFAR incidents.
• Implementing initiative to optimize energy efficiency of HVAC systems, contributing to cost savings and (ESG) environmental sustainability net zero project emissions.
• Plans execute reliability improvement projects to focus on new technology development, evaluation (PIM-Solar expansion).
• Interface directly with production team to identify and analyze critical process excursions, define problems, and develop specifications to guide the solution process.
• Communicate and implement cleanroom improvement / project expansion works with consultants, contractors and procurement.
  
  

Qualifications

• Degree holder in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Preferred at least 5 years hands-on experience in HVAC systems, clean room facility improvement project.
• Experience in cleanroom environment and familiar with semiconductor industries
• Project management and supervision skills.
• Creativity in trouble shooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate and work in a highly effective team environment.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and advance several tasks in parallel
• Dynamic and resourceful person with good analytical, organizational, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Computer literate and good grasp of MS office and Auto CAD.
