Job description

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineerwith at least 3-5 years of experiencein the oil & gas / power plant / other related to waste to energy industries. The ideal candidate will be responsible for engineering review,planning, execution, and quality assuranceof civil engineering works in compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Execution & Supervision: Oversee civil construction activities at project sites, ensuring compliance with design specifications, local authority requirementand safety regulations.
• Structural Design & Analysis: Conduct engineering calculations, structural analysis, and prepare drawings for foundations, pipelines, and related infrastructure.
• Site Inspection & Quality Control: Monitor work progress, perform site inspections, and enforce quality control standards.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure all civil works comply with regulatory standards, including HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) requirements.
• Technical Coordination: Liaise with clients and engineering designer, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Material & Cost Management: Assist in procurement, material selection, and cost estimation for civil engineering works.
• Reporting & Documentation: Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and engineering documentation.
• Problem-Solving: Identify construction challenges and propose effective solutions to ensure no delaying of project.

Requirements

• Qualification: Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or equivalent.
• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in civil engineering.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Micro Soft Projector similar software; strong knowledge of structural analysis, geotechnical principles, and foundation design; familiarity with ACI Code, BS Standard and local civil engineering standards.
• Certifications: Advantageous to have CIDB Green Card, and HSE-related certifications.
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving ability, teamwork, and excellent communication skills.
• Willingness to Travel: Able to work at on-site locations when required.
