Job description
Responsibilities
  • Provide detailed design works across a range of projects, including calculations and detailed analysis within civil and structural engineering.
  • Prepare and review structural drawings, ensuring alignment with project specifications.
  • Prepare project reports summarizing key assumptions, design methodologies, drawing conclusions and recommendations.
  • Effectively manage the time, quality and performance of allocated tasks.
  • Manage project correspondence, reports, and client relations, maintaining clear communication and ensuring project success.
  • Assist project site personnel in witnessing and attending inspections with local authorities upon request.
Minimum Requirements
  • A Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent, with at least 3 years of relevant experience in structural engineering for building projects.
  • Proven track record in a diverse range of projects, including low and high-rise buildings and industrial steel buildings.
  • Knowledge of British/Malaysian Codes and Practices, EuroCode, and BIM Standard is an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in using CAD and other civil and structural software such as STAADPro, TSD, EPANET, etc.
  • Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills, with a keen ability to meet deadlines and work independently.
  • A proactive, team-oriented approach with a desire to take on new challenges and excel in a dynamic environment.
