Pecca Leather Sdn Bhd, an established and reputable leather goods manufacturer, is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer to join Group Finance dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing the company's financial operations, ensuring financial stability, and driving strategic decision‑making to support the organisation's growth and expansion plans. As the Chief Financial Officer, you will be a lead key member of the Group Finance team, contributing to the overall direction and success of the Pecca Group Berhad business.

Key responsibilities
  • Lead Pecca Group’s short‑ and long‑term financial strategy to support business growth.
  • Oversee all Finance & Accounting operations, ensuring strong governance and performance.
  • Deliver timely budgets, forecasts, financial reports and management analysis.
  • Develop and maintain robust costing systems, financial processes and internal controls.
  • Provide strategic financial advice to Management and the Board on business decisions.
  • Manage mergers, acquisitions, due diligence, valuations and integration activities.
  • Ensure compliance with tax, statutory, regulatory and reporting requirements.
  • Liaise with auditors, bankers, advisors and regulators to manage risk and funding.
  • Lead tax planning, incentives, government grants and dealings with MITI & MIDA.
  • Drive data‑driven decision making using Power BI financial dashboards and insights.
What we're looking for
  • Qualified accountant (CPA, ACCA or equivalent) with at least 15 years of progressive experience in a senior financial role, preferably within the manufacturing, banking or FMCG industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and managing finance teams, including financial planning, reporting, analysis and also M&A process.
  • Exceptional financial management and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make strategic recommendations.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations, tax planning, and risk management principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience in driving strategic initiatives and implementing financial strategies to support business growth.
  • Adept at using financial software and technology to enhance financial processes and reporting.
