A photovoltaic technology company is seeking candidates for a position in Penang, Malaysia. The ideal applicant will have over 5 years of experience in photovoltaic cell manufacturing and familiarity with crystalline silicon battery processes. Responsibilities include managing production line equipment, achieving performance targets, and optimizing equipment based on data analysis. Strong technical skills and the ability to communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients are essential for this role.
Must have work experience in the photovoltaic cell industry
1. Production Line Equipment Operation and Maintenance
(1) Responsible for the long-term operation and data testing of the equipment sections under jurisdiction. Conduct daily management and maintenance of equipment, promptly arrange engineers to handle equipment anomalies on the production line, and analyze and report on issues.
(2) In case of major abnormalities in the production line, must quickly arrive at the scene of the abnormality within the workshop and direct handling.
2. Achieve Assigned Department Performance Targets
(1) Accept and decompose departmental performance plan indicators; formulate and implement performance plans.
(2) Develop team annual targets and action plans, responsible for monthly/annual performance evaluation, summary, and improvement. Bear responsibility for the team's performance outcomes.
3. Equipment Optimization and Improvement
(1) Based on actual operating conditions and measurement data of the production line, develop reasonable equipment improvement plans by addressing real issues in the processes under responsibility. Assign engineers to carry out equipment debugging and repairs.
(2) Research equipment selection and improvement solutions from other companies, and select suitable options based on actual workshop conditions.
4. Personnel Management and Development
(1) Reasonably assign work tasks to managed personnel, clarify job responsibilities, ensure stable operation of equipment under jurisdiction, and prevent safety incidents.
(2) Supervise the work completion status of subordinates, promptly correct any work-related issues, and require improvements.
(3) Conduct evaluations and assessments of subordinates, and provide recommendations for their promotion or appointment.
(4) Train and develop subordinates, improve their technical skills, actively promote team building, and maintain a positive team atmosphere.
5. Complete Tasks Assigned by Superiors
1. Education: Bachelor’s degree or above; to liaise with Mandarin-speaking customers and communicate effectively with counterparts in China.
2. Industry Experience: At least 5 years of experience in photovoltaic cell manufacturing. Familiarity with crystalline silicon battery process equipment is required. Candidates with full-line battery equipment experience are preferred. Project Experience: Must have over one year of project experience working in Southeast Asia in the photovoltaic industry, with proven ability to independently complete projects.
3. Technical Skills:
(1) Proficient in operating on-site equipment (wet processes, high temperature, coating, scribing), with rich experience in handling on-site emergencies and team management.
(2) Familiar with mainstream robot operations.
(3) Skilled in using Office software and common industrial control software.
(4) Possess extensive knowledge of electrical engineering.
