A leading technology firm in Malaysia seeks a Technical Expert to apply advanced engineering concepts, lead projects, and improve processes. The ideal candidate has a degree in Engineering or related fields and significant experience (6–10 years) in technical system installation and maintenance. Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to mentor junior engineers are essential. This role requires independent work at customer sites and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Apply in-depth knowledge of own engineering discipline and foundational understanding of related technical areas.
Solve complex technical problems by applying advanced engineering concepts and new perspectives to existing challenges.
Work independently with minimal guidance and exercise strong professional judgment in critical situations.
Serve as a technical resource for engineers with less experience, offering informal mentoring and guidance.
Lead and execute project steps or technical workstreams within larger engineering or service projects.
Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks while maintaining high-quality standards and compliance with operational processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, customers, and vendors to ensure seamless service delivery.
Contribute to ongoing improvement of engineering processes, service quality, and technical methodologies.
Identify recurring technical issues and recommend enhancements to procedures, tools, or system configurations.
Degree or diploma in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Significant experience in installation, maintenance, and repair of technical systems or products (typically 6–10 years).
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills with the ability to solve complex technical issues.
Experience working independently at customer sites and managing field service engagements.
Ability to guide and support junior engineers and technicians.
Strong communication and customer management skills.
