Job Responsibilities
  • Develop, formulate, and optimize printing ink systems (e.g. solvent-based, water-based, or UV inks).
  • Perform laboratory testing and evaluation of ink properties such as viscosity, color strength, dispersion, drying, adhesion, and print performance.
  • Support color matching, shade adjustment, and consistency control based on customer requirements.
  • Troubleshoot formulation, quality, and application issues related to printing inks.
  • Provide technical support during customer trials and application testing.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, and sales teams to ensure product performance meets specifications.
  • Maintain proper documentation, test reports, and formulation records.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, raw materials, and regulatory requirements related to ink formulations.
Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in printing ink formulation or ink-related applications.
  • Practical knowledge of pigments, resins, solvents, additives, and dispersion techniques.
  • Experience with laboratory equipment such as grind gauges, viscometers, spectrophotometers, etc.
