Job description

The Chemist will be part of Rubberflex’s COMPOUNDING/CHEMICAL LAB team, assisting in testing, analysis, and optimization of natural latex and compounding chemicals used in vulcanized rubber thread production. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, analytical graduate eager to apply laboratory knowledge in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine testing and analysis of latex and compounding materials (MST, pH, TSC, ammonia, etc.)

  • Assist in formulation trials, compounding adjustments, and process-parameter studies

  • Support development of dispersion and vulcanization chemical formulations

  • Prepare daily and batch quality reports for raw materials, intermediates, and finished products

  • Ensure compliance with QA, ISO, and safety standards in laboratory operations

  • Participate in R&D projects and contribute to problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, or Material Science

  • Fresh graduates or entry-level employees are encouraged to apply

  • Above-average CGPA (≥3.3/4.0) and strong SPM science & mathematics results

  • Able to conduct analytical work independently after training

  • Strong observation, reporting, and communication skills
