Job description

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie (CDP) to join our culinary team. The CDP will be responsible for managing a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring high-quality food preparation, presentation, and hygiene standards. This role is crucial in maintaining the overall efficiency and consistency of the kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, cook, and present dishes within your specialty.

Supervise and coordinate junior kitchen staff (e.g., Commis Chefs) within your section.

Ensure all food produced meets the restaurant’s standards for taste, presentation, and portion control.

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in your section according to HACCP standards.

Monitor stock and assist with inventory control and ordering.

Work closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to plan menus and specials.

Ensure food is stored, handled, and prepared according to food safety regulations.

Train and mentor new or junior staff.

Contribute to kitchen cost control through efficient use of ingredients and time.

Adapt quickly to feedback or changes in menu or service style.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or strong experience as a Demi Chef de Partie.

Culinary degree or professional chef certification preferred.

Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety standards.

Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent time management and organizational skills.

A team player with good communication skills.

Work Environment: Must be able to work in a non-halal environment.

Salary: Commensurate with experience; to be discussed during the interview session with the Head Of Central Kitchen.
