Job description
Change & Organisation Development Specialist

As a Change & Organisation Development (OD) Specialist, you help shape the future of our organization. You turn data into insights and use them to support change. You’ll work on projects and initiatives that improve how we work together and prepare us for what’s ahead.

You’ll collaborate with HR teams, project managers, and OD experts to make sure change initiatives are well-informed and have real impact. Sometimes you’ll work independently, other times as part of a team — always with the goal of making our organization stronger.

Your role involves using data to understand how the organization is doing and where we can improve, working on OD and change projects, advising stakeholders, supporting change management efforts, and making sure we follow global OD standards.

This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to building a healthy and high-performing workplace.

Staying true to who you really are, that is your starting point at FrieslandCampina. Because it is precisely by embracing our differences that we can grow together. We want to create a working environment that allows all employees to bring their best and authentic selves. If who we are suits you, but you're not sure if you're the best fit for the role, we still encourage you to apply so we can help you find the role that fits you best.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
  • 4–5 years of relevant experience as an OD Specialist or HR Manager
  • Comfortable working with data and people analytics
  • Good understanding of business and how organizations work
  • Awareness of organizational dynamics and stakeholder needs
  • Clear communication across levels and cultures
  • A global mindset and the ability to handle complexity
  • Attention to detail and ability to build trust
  • A collaborative attitude and team spirit
  • Fluency in English

Your key responsibilities:

  • Collect and analyze data, create reports and dashboards to show how the organization is performing, and turn insights into practical OD plans.
  • Support OD and Change projects, including activities like rightsizing, simplifying layers, harmonizing job titles, and improving processes.
  • Guide business and HR through change processes, engage stakeholders, and create and deliver structured change and communication plans.
  • Advise on OD topics and contribute to both small restructuring projects and larger organizational changes. Guide the change by understanding how design, job grading, and people impact each other.
  • Coordinate structure changes and work with HR, Digital, and other teams to ensure updates are reflected in HR systems, processes, and organizational frameworks.
  • Ensure compliance with global OD standards, principles and policies and follow up on required actions.

Working in the Work & Health team at the Global HR Function, this position is based in Kuala Lumpur. The team is responsible for Organisation Development, Change Management, and Social Sustainability and consists of the Center of Expertise (CoE) and the Capability Pool.

This Change & OD Specialist position is one of ten positions within the Capability Pool. The specialist works closely with the CoE OD & Change team, Business HR, and the business to support and drive organizational transformation and change initiatives.
