Job description

We are looking for a disciplined, trustworthy, and highly alert Certified Bodyguard to provide secure transportation and close protection services to the Director. This role requires a legally licensed firearms professional with strong defensive capabilities and exceptional discretion.

What you will be doing:

• Provide close protection to the Director, family members, VIPs, and designated guests.
• Remain vigilant and prepared to respond immediately to any potential threat, risk, or emergency situation.
• Conduct advance security checks at venues, workplaces, residences, and event locations.
• Monitor surroundings, assess risks, and ensure secure movement of the Director at all times.
• Coordinate with external security personnel, building management, or law enforcement when required.
• Plan protective strategies, exit routes, and contingency plans.
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all personal and professional matters.
• Ensure all equipment, including issued firearms and protective gear, is properly maintained and compliant.
• Prepare security reports and incident logs when necessary.
• Perform any other protection-related tasks assigned by the Director.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

• Malaysian citizen, Malay.
• Fully PIKM-registered Certified Bodyguard (or equivalent recognised certification).
• Must possess a valid PDRM C&U Firearm Carry & Use License (mandatory).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in close protection, bodyguarding, or security operations.
• Physically and mentally fit; no criminal, disciplinary, or serious traffic records.
• Strong skills in martial arts, self-defense, combat, or tactical operations are an advantage.
• Excellent situational awareness, vigilance, and threat-assessment capability.
• Highly disciplined, reliable, discreet, and able to maintain absolute confidentiality.
• Able to work under pressure, in high-risk situations, and during irregular or extended hours when required.
• Able to begin employment in February 2026.
