Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle inspections in accordance with established guidelines and procedures.
• Verify vehicle identification details, specifications, and documentation.
• Assess vehicle condition including interior, exterior, chassis, body, paint, engine, tyres, and electronic systems.
• Check odometer readings, engine performance, air-conditioning, and vehicle equipment or options.
• Identify, verify, and document any damages or defects accurately.
• Capture clear photos and prepare complete inspection reports using a computer or mobile application.
• Perform mobile inspections based on assigned schedules and standard procedures.
• Carry out any other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Handover Inspection (Pre-Delivery Inspection)

• Conduct pre-delivery and handover inspections in accordance with company quality standards.
• Manage vehicle handover and collection processes professionally and efficiently.
• Prepare and submit accurate inspection reports based on actual vehicle condition.
• Collect, verify, and manage all required documents from vehicle owners/sellers.
• Coordinate e-Auto ownership transfer and assist with bank settlement for outstanding hire purchase loans.
• Liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth vehicle collection and transaction processes.
• Ensure vehicles are transported safely to the designated branch and handed over in inspected condition

Requirements

• Minimum Certificate in Automotive Technology or related field (Diploma or higher is an advantage).
• Fresh graduates in automotive are welcome to apply.
• Relevant experience in the automotive industry as a vehicle inspector, technician, mechanic, or related role.
• Good knowledge of automotive systems, components, and basic repair processes.
• Familiar with vehicle safety standards, inspection procedures, and emissions regulations.
• Meticulous with strong attention to detail and observation skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to analyse issues, make sound decisions, and solve problems effectively.
