Job description

Responsibilities

• Analyze part designs and collaborate with designer & project engineers to establish the most effective and efficient machining processes.
• Design and optimize machining strategies for Mold & Die components fabrication to reduce cycle times while maintaining quality.
• Design and develop electrodes for EDM based on engineering drawings and specifications.
• Develop CNC machining programs for the manufacturing of electrodes, Mold & Die components & others using Siemens NX.
• Develop Wirecut machining programs for the manufacturing of electrodes, Mold & Die components & others using Siemens NX.
• Design and model 3D fixtures conforming to company’s fixture design standards, creating efficient, robust fixtures.
• Prepare detailed machining instructions, including tool selection, cutting speeds, feeds, and other critical parameters.
• Maintain accurate documentation for all electrode designs, CNC programs, Mold & Die components fabrication processes, and any revisions made.
• Ensure all CNC programs, designs, and machining processes are executed compliance with company quality standards.
• Continuously review and update CNC programs based on feedback from the machining process and any design changes.

Job Requirements

• Academic Qualification: Minimum diploma in Mechanical / Manufacturing / Mechatronic / Industrial engineering or equivalent.
• Work Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in Siemen NX programming 3, 4 & 5-axis CNC machine tools within a production environment of high-tolerance precision components.
• Proficient in CNC programming languages (e.g., G-code, M-code), Capable in using Microsoft Office, etc.
• Knowledge of safety procedures, quality standards, and tool selection is essential. Average understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances (GD&T).
