The role involves performing internal calibration for all equipment, managing external calibration suppliers to optimize costs, and ensuring adherence to ISO accreditation. You will also be responsible for maintaining equipment databases, conducting dimensional measurements, and ensuring timely inspections to support production processes. Strong communication and technical skills are essential for this position.

Job description

To perform internal calibration for all equipment according to Ascentec standard. Record and verify calibration data per the standard.

To manage external calibration equipment with external calibration suppliers. Ensuring optimize calibration cost from supplier and quick turnaround of the calibrated equipment.

To manage equipment databases are always up to date via GageTrak including uploading calibration certificates. Ensuring all equipment calibration and maintenance are in good condition and meeting ISO accreditation requirement.

To communicate calibration status with various internal departments (Production, Quality, Engineering) and retrieve all due equipment for maintenance and calibration work to be done on schedule.

To create, review and update internal documentation related to equipment calibration.

To perform dimensional measurement and quality inspection for in-process, finished, assembled parts and FA parts according to part drawings and specifications. Hands on with Manuals measuring equipment such as VMM/Vision Scope, profile projector, calipers, micrometer, thread gauges, height gauges, Ra tester, dial indicators, pin/block gauges, etc.

To review and verify all non-conformance items and issuing Non-Conformance Report when found during the inspection.

To ensure all parts are inspected promptly with minimal supervision and part released in a timely manner to avoid any line down-time.

To perform any other QC tasks required such as preparing bubble drawing, DIR and others.

Assist in any tasks as instructed by your superior and/or management of AESB from time to time.
