Job description

We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Cafe Assistant Manager / Management Trainee to support daily café operations and grow into a leadership role. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced F&B environment, loves working with people (especially families and children), and is eager to develop management skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in overseeing daily café operations to ensure smooth service flow and operational efficiency.
  • Support in managing opening and closing procedures.
  • Ensure food, beverage, and service quality meet company standards.
Team Supervision & Training
  • Supervise service crew and kitchen staff during shifts.
  • Assist in training new staff on service standards, SOPs, hygiene, and safety procedures.
  • Motivate the team to deliver friendly, efficient, and consistent customer service.
Customer Experience
  • Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally.
  • Ensure a welcoming, clean, and child-friendly café environment.
  • Support birthday parties, celebrations, and special events held at the café.
Inventory & Cost Control
  • Assist in monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing wastage.
Operational Coordination
  • Work closely with kitchen, service, and management teams to ensure smooth daily operations.
Reporting & Administration
  • Support administrative tasks such as staff scheduling and basic documentation.
Ad-hoc Duties
  • Carry out other duties assigned by management to support café operations.
Job Requirements
  • Fresh graduates or candidates with 1–3 years of F&B experience are welcome.
  • Prior experience as a Supervisor, Senior Crew, or Team Leader is an advantage.
  • Good communication skills in English (Mandarin is a plus).
  • Customer-oriented, responsible, and able to work well in a team.
